We want your pity! In BRAVE, Theater Thikwa and hannsjana explore the truly grand emotions of inclusive theater: inspiration and pity. In a glamorous fundraising gala, they radically inspire their audience to elicit genuine emotions. Under the guise of charity and altruism, they lay bare the mechanisms of sympathy and pity. The Thikwa performers are true experts when it comes to inspiring and tear-jerking performances. On stage, they overcome the toughest obstacles and bring out the most tragic stories – not least to humorously subvert the dynamics of spectating and sympathizing.
