Stimprovisation
Aby Watson (Scotland) | Workshop | Free admission

Stimming is movement, behaviour, or vocalisation to self-regulate. Often rhythmic and repetitive, stimming soothes or stimulates to bring oneself into balance. We all stim, but for neurodivergent people who process the senses differently, stimming is particularly important for well-being.

Dr. Aby Watson invites you to stimming improvisation – an embodied creative practice of sensory-seeking, instant composition. Through practices involving movement, objects, and voice, you can follow your sensory curiosity and zone in to rhythm and repetition. The workshop is open to everyone, whether you identify as neurodivergent or not. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to play and explore.
