A group of people are standing in a square. A person to the right in the foreground is doing a one-handed bridge and holding a water spray bottle in the air. Behind them, a person is lying on a couch, with many hula hoop rings on and in front of him. Around both of them are several megaphones on the floor. In the background people are dancing in front of two blue containers.

What's the story with winning and losing? And with the things of existence in general? Theater Thikwa has interviewed Special Olympics athletes all over Germany. Their stories are the source of inspiration for a colourful mix of scenes. Several times a day, in front of the Thikwa containers at Neptunbrunnen, we present a fast-paced mix of short performances, music and dance acts all about sport and life. Free of charge and outside - and with beatbox music on top. Parallel to the great revue at Thikwa Theatre.

Our film about the Special Olympics, "Erzähl mal! – Eine Interviewreise durch Deutschland", can also be viewed on our YouTube channel.
