Early Boarding

For people with sensory or motor impairments, we offer early boarding for almost all performances. It offers the opportunity to enter the hall before the official admission and to choose a suitable seat in peace.

Alternative seating and lying options

In almost all performances at Thikwa Theater, we offer alternative seating and lying options for people who find sitting on chairs too uncomfortable.

Surtitles in German and English

Most of the performances on Wednesday and Saturday – apart from dance pieces and other low-text formats – run with surtitles in German and English. The surtitles are visible in the last three rows.

For blind and visually impaired people, we offer live descriptions via headphones in selected performances. Performances with an audio description are marked with this symbol:

Audio descriptions

Before every audio description there is a haptic access tour. It starts one hour before the performance. For this we meet in the theater foyer. If you need a pick-up service from the subway station, feel free to call Silke Stuck at 0178 1848070.
