Früchtchen des Zorns SKART, Dasniya Sommer & Theater Thikwa
How can we argue meaningfully in a world shaped by destructive conflict? With this central question in mind, the Hamburg-based performance collective SKART, together with Berlin dancer and choreographer Dasniya Sommer and the ensemble of Theater Thikwa, explores the constructive potential of disagreement, quarrels, and anger.
Armed with choreographed rituals, striking body-art imagery, and inspired by bondage and ballet, they celebrate a wide range of intense interpersonal confrontations. As Brezel Göring and the Thikwa musicians drive everyone relentlessly forward with their live music, the others drift apart in their search for a productive culture of conflict.

Content Notes
This play deals with themes that may be distressing: it depicts or describes physical and psychological violence, including war and the use of weapons. Another theme is discrimination against people with disabilities. Additionally, the production addresses severe illness, death and grief, as well as mental health crises such as depression and self-harm. Strong language is used.
Lighting
There is a long scene with strobe lighting, as well as rapid light changes and very bright and very dark stage lighting.
Sound
There are sudden loud, banging or booming noises, as well as metallic screeching. Additionally, there is live music with loud vocals and a strong, physically palpable bass.
Scents
Theatrical fog is used. The room will smell of fruit and citrus.
Other
In one scene, there is a light wind and fine rain falling from above unto the audience space (you will stay dry in the front and back rows).
